Job Title: Jira System Administrator

Required: - 3-5+ years of years as Jira System Administrator
- Experience managing both cloud and on-prem instances of Jira
- Experience working in IT Operations
- Front End development (Java, Web Services, APIs)
- Java or Javascript experience
- REST API's a plus.
- Good knowledge of Linux
- Experience managing dev/test/prod environments
- Experience performing Level 2 and Level 3 support functions
- Solid understanding of Agile principles project management methodologies
- MUST be an Excellent Communicator, who can call or visit colleagues to gather and provide information
Job Description: - Will be the technical owner of Jira.
- Will responsible for ensuring that Jira is running and performing optimally at all times.
- Will also be working with various users of the system on front-end configurations and support.
- Must be naturally curious and like to solve problems.
- Technical System Administrator and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Jira
- Manage system performance, network connectivity and maintain operability
- Trouble-shoot and resolve issues
- Perform version upgrades and install patches
- Design and implement workflows and system configurations
- Evaluate, make recommendations and manage various plug-ins and APIs
- Work with end-users on front-end configuration
- Align with the PMO on processes and standards
