Must have:
Bachelor's degree, related to the industry, and a minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience
Knack for writing clean, readable Java code with unit tests & integration tests
Proven experience in designing Java/Java EE solutions
Experience in designing microservices & APIs
Proven experience in Java back-end development with the following technologies: JDK 8+, GitHub, REST, Spring, Spring Boot, Apache CXF, Microservices, SOAP, Swagger,Apache / Tomcat, SQL
Hands on 3+ years in Python technology stack
Hands on 1+ years in JavaScript technologies such as Vue.js/Angular/NodeJs/React
Hands on 1.5+ years in any code assist tool such as GitHub copilot, Claude code, etc.
Comfortable with Linux/Unix operating system commands
Excellent understanding of integration and design patterns
Good understanding of Atlassian suite tools (Jira and Confluence)
Good understanding of DevOps technologies such as GitHub Actions, Ansible, Nexus,Artifactory, Airflow, etc.
Ability to multi-task effectively and provide timely updates
Deadline-driven, results-oriented and a good team player

Nice to have:
Experience in application security (one / two-way SSL, SAML, OAuth)

Docker/OpenShift container platform and Kubernetes

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 80,000 - 90,000.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
