Java Full Stack Developer with AWS

Location: NYC NY Jersey City NJ Columbus OH Plano TX/Onsite (NEED LOCAL)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with AWS expertise to design, develop, and deploy scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, React, REST APIs, AWS, and SQL/NoSQL databases.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.

Develop scalable and secure RESTful APIs and microservices.

Build responsive front-end applications using React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

Integrate React applications with Java/Spring Boot backend services.

Design, deploy, and maintain applications on AWS Cloud.

Work with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, EKS/ECS, API Gateway, IAM, and CloudWatch.

Develop and optimize SQL queries and work with relational and NoSQL databases.

Implement application security using Spring Security, OAuth2, and JWT.

Write unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, and Jest/React Testing Library.

Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, debugging, and performance optimization.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.

Work with Git for source control and follow branching and code-review practices.

Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.

Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.

Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

5+ years of experience in Java Full Stack Development.

Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, Java 8/11/17+.

Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data/JPA, and Hibernate.

Strong experience developing Microservices and REST APIs.

Hands-on experience with React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud.

Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.

Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.

Experience with Git and CI/CD.

Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices.
