Java Full Stack Developer
Lead I - Software Engineering
UST is searching for a strong Java Full Stack Developer to work on a multi-vendor multi-geo team helping to build a NextGen High Scale Enterprise Platform.
The opportunity:
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
• Architect and design scalable, high-performance enterprise solutions.
• Drive strategic technical decisions for the NextGen High Scale Enterprise Platform.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an on-site setting.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, robust, and maintainable codebases.

What you need:
• Technical Skills:
• Mandatory: Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, Azure, ReactJS,Redux
• Good to have: Graph QL, Kubernetes integrations, Node js
• 5 years hands on experience in Java development at enterprise scale (recent)
• 3 years of recent React experience
• Strong programming skills in Java, React and Node, including object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and familiarity with Java frameworks
• Understanding of microservices architecture and experience in building and deploying microservices-based applications
• Hands-on experience in developing Spring Boot applications, including dependency injection, ORM (Object-Relational Mapping), and REST API development
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud platform, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL
• Proficiency in building server-side applications using NodeJS, including creating RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous programming
• In-depth understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, including ES6+ features, data types, operators, and functional programming concepts
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) practices, including automated testing, build pipelines, and deployment strategies
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries as per industrial standards, fine-tuned for optimization
• Strong knowledge and experience in developing front-end applications using ReactJS, including components, state management, and routing
• Strong problem-solving abilities, good communication (written & verbal) skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team are also important for this role.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Arkansas
Compensation Range: $75,000-$113,000

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).
All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
