Job Duties- Lead the modernization and migration of multiple MDM applications currently running on IBM WebSphere and legacy Java frameworks as part of a strategic technology debt remediation initiative.
- Provide technical leadership for application transformation efforts, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards, modernization goals, and long-term maintainability objectives.
- Design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications using Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Angular, REST APIs, and modern software engineering practices.
- Lead middleware modernization initiatives including WebSphere migration, Tomcat adoption, deployment modernization, and application configuration improvements.
- Drive engineering best practices around performance optimization, resiliency, scalability, security, observability, and operational excellence.
- Conduct architecture reviews, design reviews, code reviews, and technical mentoring sessions for development teams across multiple applications.
- Support technical analysis activities, modernization assessments, dependency evaluations, and migration planning exercises.
- Collaborate closely with systems analysts, quality engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure successful modernization outcomes.
- Drive CI/CD adoption, release automation, deployment optimization, and DevOps maturity improvements across the applications portfolio.
- Support production readiness reviews, release planning, cutover activities, and post-go-live stabilization efforts.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:
$90000 to $118665 Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
