Role: Java Developer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Java Developer with 5+ years of experience to support a State of Texas project. The ideal candidate will have strong hands on experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and SQL, with the ability to design, develop, and support scalable enterprise applications in a collaborative Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop scalable RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Build and support cloud based applications utilizing AWS services.
• Write efficient SQL queries and optimize database performance.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to analyze requirements and implement technical solutions.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues while ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
• Support application deployments, enhancements, and production activities.

Required Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong Core Java programming skills.
• Experience with Spring Boot.
• Hands on experience with AWS services.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.

Expected Deliverables:
• Scalable Java based enterprise applications.
• RESTful APIs and backend services.
• AWS cloud application support.
• Database enhancements and performance improvements.
• Technical documentation and production support.

Education Requirement:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
