Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java.
• Proficiency in Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience with microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and basic-to-intermediate Kubernetes knowledge.
• Experience with JUnit and Cucumber testing frameworks.
• Understanding of private cloud and Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Senior-level experience working on enterprise applications.
• Mainframe or financial services experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices using Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Build REST APIs and integrate messaging systems such as Kafka.
• Work with relational databases and write efficient SQL queries.
• Develop automated tests using JUnit and Cucumber.
• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application reliability and performance.
• Participate in technical decision-making, code reviews, and solution design.
• Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams in a private cloud environment.
