Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced
Java AWS Developer to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications using
Java,
Spring Boot, and
Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java development, microservices architecture, cloud services, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build secure, high-performance, and highly available enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and deploy microservices on AWS.
- Develop scalable RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Design and implement event-driven architectures using AWS services.
- Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda where applicable.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and availability.
- Integrate applications with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Implement security best practices using AWS IAM, Secrets Manager, and encryption.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Monitor application health and troubleshoot production issues.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Java development.
- Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11/17).
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Strong SQL and database knowledge.
- Experience with Git and version control.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerization.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications- AWS Certified Developer - Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Experience with Kubernetes or Amazon EKS.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture.
- Experience with Apache Kafka or Amazon SQS.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Experience with Redis or Amazon ElastiCache.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
