Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric IT Product Owner - Dealer Experience to lead the strategy, development, and continuous improvement of digital and operational solutions that support the dealer network. This role is responsible for owning the end-to-end product lifecycle of dealer-facing platforms, ensuring solutions improve dealer efficiency, satisfaction, and business performance.

The Product Owner acts as the bridge between Dealer Operations, Aftersales, Commercial, and IT delivery teams, translating dealer needs into prioritized product roadmaps and executable backlogs while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and long-term digital strategy.

Product Vision & Strategy
  • Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap for dealer experience platforms (e.g., dealer portals, service tools, parts ordering, warranty, and support systems), aligned with business objectives and dealer needs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of dealer journeys, pain points, and operational workflows to drive value-based prioritization.
  • Partner with Aftersales, Commercial, and Dealer Operations teams to ensure solutions support dealer growth, retention, and satisfaction.

Backlog & Delivery Ownership
  • Own and manage the product backlog, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value, dealer impact, risk, and technical feasibility.
  • Translate business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
  • Work closely with Agile delivery teams (Business Analysts, Developers, QA, Suppliers) to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

Stakeholder & Dealer Engagement
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for dealer-experience-related IT products, gathering feedback and communicating roadmap progress.
  • Facilitate workshops, demos, and feedback sessions with dealer councils, pilot dealers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Balance competing priorities across dealer needs, operational constraints, and IT capabilities

Continuous Improvement & Performance
  • Monitor product performance using KPIs such as dealer adoption, cycle time reduction, issue resolution, and satisfaction metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline dealer workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve data accuracy through automation and integration.
  • Leverage emerging technologies (APIs, cloud platforms, analytics, AI) to modernize dealer-facing capabilities.

Governance & Delivery Management
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.
  • Coordinate UAT, release readiness, and post-launch support to ensure smooth dealer adoption.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers as needed to deliver and support dealer solutions.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Product Ownership, Product Management, or Business Analysis roles.
  • Minimum 3 years leading teams
  • Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business needs into actionable technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence across functions.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in automotive, aftersales, dealer operations, or B2B platform environments.
  • Familiarity with dealer systems such as parts, service, warranty, or CRM platforms.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, APIs, data integration, and analytics.
  • Prior experience working with geographically distributed teams and external vendors
