IT Systems Administrator - Portage, MI

DISHER is partnering with a long-established engineering-driven manufacturer of electro-hydraulic components and systems, serving OEMs across a wide range of industries worldwide. This team is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to manage and maintain the IT infrastructure; ensuring the stable operation of IT systems and networks by installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing hardware, software, and communication systems. The IT Systems Administrator will also diagnose, resolve, and document hardware and software problems promptly while upholding the company's mission and goals.

What will make you successful:
• A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience and certifications will be considered.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience is required.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, Extreme Networks, VMware, Microsoft Azure/M365, or CISSP/CISM are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, and DNS.
• Experience with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Distributed File System (DFS).
• Ability to create scripts and automate tasks in PowerShell.
• Familiarity with programming languages (C#, VB, .NET) is a plus.
• Proficiency in VMware vSphere and vSAN.
• Experience with cloud backup technologies.
• Experience in a manufacturing IT environment is preferred.
