In this position, you will serve as a Client Systems Technician with the responsibility for deploying, sustaining, troubleshooting, and repairing standard voice, data, video network, and cryptographic client devices.
You will manage client user accounts, handle hardware and software, and perform client-level information technology support functions. Additional duties include the configuration and management of software operating systems and applications, providing service to end-users for the operation and restoration of information systems, and reporting and executing corrective actions for security incidents.

The employee may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty
This is a cybersecurity position; the employee will attain appropriate DoD approved cybersecurity baseline certificate(s) applicable for cybersecurity functions required for the DoD position held, within six months of filling position IAW DoD 8570.01-M.
Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of a wide range of IT principles and systems analysis concepts and techniques, new and emerging information technologies, and security methods and principles.
Knowledge of customers' business processes and operations to anticipate and refine functional requirements.
Knowledge of concepts and principles of sequencing actions, procurement techniques and requirements, and coordination requirements involved in project controls.
Knowledge of design tools, methods, and techniques as well as life cycle management concepts, cost benefit analysis, system architecture, integration techniques, and testing methods.
Knowledge of customary approaches, techniques, and requirements appropriate to analyze requirements, develop acquisition strategies, and implement systems enhancements.
Ability to maintain an up-to-date awareness of technological advances, to apply internet technologies to analyze networks and the related security aspects, and predict how management can meet future requirements.
