Summary

This position serves as a IT Specialist (SYSADMIN/CUSTSPT), located in the Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of the Chief Information Officer, Cybersecurity Services Staff, National Classified Systems Directorate located in Washington, DC. The primary purpose of this position is to perform systems administration, information security, infrastructure operations, technical support, continuity planning that ensure the availability, integrity, and financial/budget support

The duties and responsibilities for a IT Specialist (SYSADMIN/CUSTSPT) GS-2210-12 generally include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Maintains enterprise electronic information services, data repositories, electronic records systems, and information management tools.
  2. Provides technical and program management advice to leadership on litigation technology capabilities and mission requirements.
  3. Manages and maintain electronic data and information resources in accordance with established policies and requirements
  4. Coordinates with technical teams, customers, stakeholders, and leadership to resolve issues.
  5. Performs user account administration, system updates, routine maintenance, and system performance monitoring.

Qualifications

To qualify for the position of IT Specialist (SYSADMIN/CUSTSPT), at GS-2210-12, you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below.

Basic Qualifications (2210 series): Please refer to the OPM IT Management Series 2210 Qualification Standard for the specific experience requirements for the GS-12 and above positions.

AND

Specialized Experience: To qualify for the GS-12 grade level, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable non-Federal experience. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing the following duties:

  1. Provides technical support for litigation technology systems, databases, applications, and/or digital information repositories. AND
  2. Assist in implementing solutions to improve litigation technology processes and services


You MUST meet all qualification requirements, including time-in-grade, by the 09/08/2026 of this announcement.
