In this position you will serve as a Cyber Quality Assurance Specialist responsible for performing mandated key assessments and evaluations of 75 ABW/SC personnel and processes, on the Director's behalf. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with instructions, technical data, safety directives and policies, internal/external IG audits, and manages Unit wing self-assessment programs and compliance databases (MICT, IGEMS, etc.). This position is responsible for managing the Cyber Operational Readiness Assessment (CORA) program, ensuring precise tracking and delivery of key metrics, measuring the Hill Air Force Base's cyber security defensive posture through continuous self-assessments, reporting compliance, and identifying key indicators of risk and vulnerabilities.

This position may require work to be performed during hours outside the normal duty schedule.
The employee may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty. Cyberspace qualification is a condition of employment. This position includes cyberspace work as a paramount duty requirement. DoDM 8140.03, para 4.2.a.(2) requires foundational qualification requirements within 9 months of assignment to a cyberspace work role and residential qualification requirements within 12 months of assignment to a cyberspace work role. An extension waiver of up to six-months may be granted per DoDM 8140.03. Failure to maintain the proper foundational and residential qualifications may result in removal from this position.
Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in the following areas: Personnel Evaluations and Equipment Evaluations Technical Order Management Corrosion Prevention and Control Program Electrostatic Discharge Program Statement(s) of Work (SOW) Performance-Based Work Statement Reviews Local Work Card Validation
Knowledge of organizational structures and functions across a major center or comparable organization to identify, consider, and present options for the resolution of substantive organizational and program issues that align with unit leadership vision, goals, and objectives.
Skill in conducting reviews and analyzing and assessing QA program operations to include identifying deficiencies; measuring compliance, consistency, effectiveness and making recommendations for enhancements and improvements.
Ability to communicate at all levels of leadership both orally and in writing, and establish and maintain effective and positive working relationships.
