Full Job Description
The ideal candidate will have be experienced communicating with Product Owners, on the technology side, as well as discussing requirements directly with business owners. The candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to drive change in regards to creating cleaner communication between technology and business partners. The role will be focused on modernizing CitiDirect's Payment flow, with a focus on the validation layer for payments. This is an opportunity to drive change from the ground up, as well as experiment with AI tooling to creatively capture and vet requirements and modernize CitiDirect's testing framework.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide project leadership and mentorship to scrum teams within CitiDirect Payments
  • Provide leadership for testing within CitiDirect Payments and partner with end to end testing team to ensure clean deliveries.
  • Actively participate in requirements gathering and documentation of dependent teams. Own a subset of programs as a primary owner and ensure delivery from other groups.
  • Lead the planning and execution of major development initiatives and projects
  • Oversee JIRA quality (in partnership with Product Owners on tech side as well as business), ensure proper dates/JIRA hygiene is being followed
  • Drive the adoption of new tracking methods/use of AI to better capture requirements/manage tracking
  • Review options with AI to automate turning JIRA user stories into test cases.
  • Ensure dashboards are up to date for product meetings. Ensure escalations are in place early in the dev process, should an issue exist.
  • Ensure ingestion of committed JIRAs you are the primary owner for, as well as those owned by other TPMs that have a dependency on your group.
  • Manage scrum masters and to ensure clean and clear discussions with dev teams, as well as ingestion of only fully groomed JIRAs.
  • Partner with QA leads to define automation framework scope.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing within the team


Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of product ownership/BA/TPM/QA Experience in financial industry
  • Extensive experience with JIRA and program tracking methodologies-
  • Proven track record of leading successful software projects and mentoring team members
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex program challenges
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to understand technical concepts and discuss/guide discussions with technical and non-technical partners.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of testing practices - partner with testing team on delivery
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools
  • Solid understanding of payments industry, including various payment systems and processes

  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
