Description WHAT YOU WILL DO The IT Portfolio Management Manager supports IT portfolio planning, governance, reporting, and delivery oversight by maintaining portfolio data, monitoring initiative health, and coordinating established portfolio management processes. This role partners with project managers, IT teams, and business stakeholders to drive visibility, governance, and informed decision-making across the portfolio.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Enterprise Architecture Strategy, Standards & Roadmaps
- Define and maintain enterprise architecture strategy, standards, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps.
- Partner with stakeholders to align business and technology priorities, integration strategies, and future-state architectures.
- Maintain enterprise architecture artifacts, including system landscapes, service catalogs, and architecture repositories.
Enterprise Architecture Tooling, Asset Management & Reporting
- Manage architecture tools, standards inventories, and technology lifecycle reporting.
- Assess technology risks, technical debt, and lifecycle issues, providing recommendations for remediation.
Architecture Governance & Review Board Leadership
- Lead Architecture Review Board (ARB) processes, architecture reviews, and governance activities.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise standards through design reviews, architecture decisions, and stakeholder alignment.
Architecture Execution, Integration & Vendor Coordination
- Provide architecture leadership across enterprise initiatives, ensuring solutions align with approved standards, roadmaps, and integration strategies.
- Partner with internal teams and vendors to support successful architecture execution and delivery.
Industry Research, Innovation & Architecture Recommendations
- Monitor emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement of enterprise architecture capabilities.
- Provide strategic recommendations that support business objectives and future technology direction.
Qualifications WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE - 5-7 years of experience in project, program, or portfolio management supporting IT or enterprise portfolios.
- Experience coordinating portfolio governance, reporting, risks, dependencies, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- PMP (or equivalent) required; Agile, Hybrid, or Lean certifications preferred.
- Experience with portfolio reporting, dashboards, capacity planning, risk management, and governance processes.
- Experience leveraging automation, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting, visibility, and operational efficiency.
