Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to manage the full lifecycle of Digital, Strategy, and Technology (DST) projects, including requirements gathering, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, closing, and customer service handover. The Project Manager will serve as the primary interface to project sponsors and steering committees and will be responsible for delivering projects within scope, budget, schedule, and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage projects to ensure successful and consistent delivery of business value, scope, budget, and schedule.
• Assist with building product backlogs and product roadmaps for business and product owners.
• Conduct product refinement meetings as needed.
• Perform requirements gathering, documentation, and requirements assessments to establish clear project goals and desired outcomes.
• Create and maintain project documentation using prescribed PMO systems and tools, including project charters, scope statements, schedules, work breakdown structures, network diagrams, risk management plans, budgets, and dashboards.
• Assist with developing Statements of Work and documentation required for Request for Proposal (RFP) procurement processes.
• Define clear deliverables required to meet project objectives.
• Support team development by holding team members accountable for commitments, removing roadblocks, and leveraging organizational resources.
• Estimate resource requirements for work packages and project deliverables and manage resources throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules and work breakdown structures.
• Monitor project progress and conduct project meetings.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and implement risk management plans.
• Prepare and deliver professional stakeholder communications and implement stakeholder management plans.
• Manage project scope and change requests while controlling scope creep.
• Implement project quality plans and ensure project quality standards are met.
• Review project deliverables and coordinate acceptance of completed deliverables.
• Assist with developing project budgets and managing project cost tracking.
• Prepare and execute organizational change management plans.
• Communicate project progress, status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, project teams, leadership, and management.
• Provide effective customer service and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders and technical teams.
• Perform other project-related duties as required.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Four years of related professional experience may substitute for the required degree.
• 3+ years of experience managing complex, high-risk, multidisciplinary projects of similar scope in a large enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of project management processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prepare clear, concise, and professional project documentation and reports.
• Ability to effectively interact and maintain working relationships with stakeholders, sponsors, technical teams, and leadership.
• Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage stakeholders with professionalism, respect, tact, and diplomacy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within established timelines.
• Regular and punctual attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification issued by the Project Management Institute.
• Experience working within a formal PMO environment.
• Experience managing enterprise-scale technology or digital transformation projects.
• Experience with organizational change management and technology procurement processes.
