IT Project Manager to lead the planning, implementation, integration, and optimization of critical technology solutions that support our life-saving mission. This is an opportunity for an experienced project management professional to partner with Information Services, Quality, operational teams, healthcare partners, and vendors to advance technology initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness and support donation and transplantation.
The OpportunityThe IT Project Manager serves as a strategic liaison between Information Services (IS), Quality, clinical and operational teams, hospital partners, and technology vendors to ensure the successful implementation and sustainability of enterprise technology solutions.
This role is responsible for managing complex healthcare technology projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment among stakeholders, maintaining project timelines and deliverables, and supporting the ongoing optimization of key systems and platforms. The position also plays an important role in vendor management, system enhancements, and identifying opportunities to leverage technology to improve organizational performance.
Reporting to the
Director, Information Systems Project Management, this individual will work across departments to ensure systems are effectively implemented, integrated, and utilized in support of HonorBridge's strategic objectives.
What You'll DoIn this role, you will:
- Serve as the primary project manager for the TrueNorth EMR system, including module updates, feature requests, and helpdesk ticket coordination.
- Support the implementation and ongoing optimization of DonorChart and Copernicus across the service area in partnership with LifeLogics, hospital partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Lead enterprise healthcare technology projects including system implementations, integrations, upgrades, enhancements, and optimization efforts.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, status reports, and project documentation.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change management activities.
- Facilitate collaboration between Information Services, Quality, operational teams, hospital-based IS departments, and external vendors.
- Coordinate stakeholder communication and ensure successful system adoption and utilization.
- Translate business and operational requirements into technology solutions and project deliverables.
- Support healthcare partner integrations, system access coordination, testing, training, and issue resolution.
- Assist in the management and optimization of SaaS platforms including Salesforce, Copernicus, DonorChart, TrueNorth, HonorBridge Learn, UKG, and TigerConnect.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, enhance system functionality, and increase operational efficiency.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors to ensure timely issue resolution, updates, and enhancements.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, workflow documentation, and system configuration records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare technology regulations, security standards, and organizational policies.

Minimum Qualifications Include:- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of IT project management experience, preferably within a healthcare environment.
- Experience managing technology implementations, system integrations, and software deployments.
- Experience with SaaS platforms and vendor relationship management.
- Knowledge of healthcare technology systems, including EMR/EHR platforms and healthcare software applications.
- Understanding of HIPAA, HITECH, and healthcare data governance standards.
- Experience using project management methodologies and tools.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Ability to translate operational needs into effective technology solutions.
Preferred Qualifications- Master's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience supporting organ donation, transplantation, or healthcare operations.
- Experience with Salesforce administration or implementation projects.
- Lean Six Sigma certification or process improvement experience.
- Experience managing enterprise software implementations across multiple stakeholder groups.
