Overview:
Sentara is hiring an IT Program Manager - Community Connect

This position is remote.

Candidates are required to be residing within driving distance from a Sentara facility.

Overview

The IT Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating multiple interrelated technical projects within the Technical Program Management Office (PMO). This role ensures that projects align with business objectives, meet strategic goals, and adhere to best practices in program and project management. The IT Program Manager provides centralized expertise, governance, and support, driving efficiency and ensuring successful project execution.

Develop and implement best practices, templates, and guidelines for technical program and project management. Provide training and mentorship to project teams to ensure adherence to program management methodologies. Monitor dependencies across multiple inter-related technical projects, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with business objectives. Gather, analyze, and report consolidated technical project status and financial information to leadership. Oversee compliance with methodologies, budgets, and timelines, potentially serving as a central governing body for audits and adherence reviews. Manage resource coordination, risk assessment, and scope definition for major technical projects and programs. Build and maintain strong relationships with leadership across the organization to resolve conflicts and address project challenges. Influence stakeholders outside of direct reporting lines regarding policies, practices, and procedures.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for full-time employment is: $106,080.00 - $176,820.80. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
