is seeking a IT Program Manager for a hybrid opportunity for candidates in Columbia, SC. Candidate will manage multiple concurrent IT audit and technology initiatives, serving as the key liaison between auditors, technology teams, business stakeholders, and leadership. The role will oversee audit coordination, evidence collection, remediation efforts, risk management, and executive reporting from initiation through completion.

Required Qualifications of the IT Program Manager:
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
  • 7+ years of IT experience in a project or program management capacity.
  • 4+ years of experience leading multiple concurrent project teams.
  • Experience coordinating or facilitating internal and/or external IT audits from the technology or business side.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple audits, projects, timelines, resources, risks, and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity, infrastructure, application development, and operational controls.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, analytical, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and resolve competing priorities or stakeholder conflicts.
  • Experience developing project plans, status reports, risk documentation, presentations, and executive communications.
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of directly related education and experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience of the IT Program Manager::
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience managing IT audit remediation programs.
  • Insurance industry experience.
  • Familiarity with NIST, COBIT, or ITIL frameworks.
  • Knowledge of information security controls, governance, and regulatory compliance practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and project/reporting tools.

Responsibilities of the IT Program Manager:
  • Coordinate internal and external IT audits and serve as the primary connection between auditors and technology organizations.
  • Manage audit evidence requests, documentation, schedules, milestones, action items, and deliverables.
  • Lead collaboration among cybersecurity, infrastructure, application development, operations, business, and audit stakeholders.
  • Track remediation initiatives and corrective actions through resolution while identifying and escalating risks or obstacles.
  • Facilitate status meetings and provide clear updates on program progress, risks, issues, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Manage assigned initiatives from planning through completion while maintaining appropriate scope, schedule, resource, quality, and governance standards.

Work Location: Columbia, SC. This is a partially onsite position, with onsite work generally expected Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, plus additional onsite presence as needed. Typical hours are 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with flexibility around core hours.
