IT Operations Specialist

The Opportunity:
As a CACI Mission & Engineering Support IT Operations Specialist supporting the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC), you will contribute to enabling Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) superiority for the Department of Defense, interagency, and coalition partners. Located at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, the JNWC is the DOD's Center of Excellence for Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) and PNT capabilities integration.
In this pivotal role, you will support the warfighter by providing expert IT operations support to assure and maintain PNT information systems. Your work will directly impact the reliability and efficiency of NAVWAR operations across all domains and military operations.
Responsibilities:
In your role supporting the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) contract, you shall be integral to our team's mission to ensure positioning, navigation, and timing superiority for the Department of Defense's navigation warfare (NAVWAR) mission. You will be responsible for monitoring and operating electronic digital computers to process business, scientific, engineering, or other data according to operating instructions. You shall ensure that the correct peripheral equipment is utilized, move switches to clear the system, and operate the equipment. You will select and load input and output units with materials.
You will continuously observe equipment, storage devices, printers, and control panels for operator messages or error indicators. You shall set up and run diagnostic tests, react appropriately to messages, and report errors or machine malfunctions as required. You will perform incidental work to machine operations such as maintaining production records, replenishing specified stock items, and distributing output materials.
You shall schedule and coordinate customer deskside support for the installation of new software or to perform hardware or software break/fix activities. You will investigate and resolve all connectivity issues related to end-user, site infrastructure, and IT equipment. You shall actively participate in construction project planning, providing detailed requirements for facility IT specifications.
You will be responsible for the on-site coordination of break/fix installations with hardware maintenance providers, providing after-hours support when required. You shall execute and maintain IT infrastructure inventory information, completing regularly scheduled inventories of all IT cabinets and IT cabinet equipment, updating pictures, drawings, and asset information.
You will oversee technical support for end-user devices and hardware (laptops, printers, tablets, mobile devices) and peripherals, software (COTS, GOTS, Web), network infrastructure (routers, switches, etc.), Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), audiovisual display systems, duress alarms, analog, and wireless technologies. You shall recommend customer service and IT process support enhancements by researching and recommending new technologies and processes.
Qualifications:
Required:
-Current Interim Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI while working
-BA/BS technical degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field with 5 years of relevant experience OR HS diploma with 7 years of directly relevant experience.
-Information Assurance Level Technician experience in a large government consulting environment
-Must have one of the following IAT Level II Certifications: CompTIA CySA+/CompTIA Security+/EC-Council CND

As a CACI Mission & Engineering Support Cyber Analyst supporting the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC), you will contribute to enabling Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) superiority for the Department of Defense, interagency, and coalition partners. Located at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, the JNWC is the DOD's Center of Excellence for Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) and PNT capabilities integration.
In this pivotal role, you will support the warfighter by providing expert modeling and simulation support to assure and prevent PNT information through coordinated employment of space, cyberspace, and electronic warfare operations. Your work will directly impact joint planning, Operation Plan (OPLAN) analysis, and the execution of NAVWAR operations across all domains and military operations.
You will play a critical part in assessing offensive and defensive NAVWAR operational capabilities in contested environments, identifying knowledge gaps, and developing tactics, techniques, and procedures to mitigate NAVWAR vulnerabilities. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on national security by ensuring PNT superiority and supporting the warfighter with cutting-edge NAVWAR solutions.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you shall coordinate with key entities such as the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), U.S. Cyber Command (CYBERCOM), Joint Force Headquarters-Cyber (JFHQ-C), Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), JFHQ-DoD Information Network (JFHQ-DoDIN), and other CYBERCOM components, as the situation demands.
You will facilitate the seamless sharing of information, both within the organization and with external partners, and you will integrate this information sharing into Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4), cyber, and cyberspace operations to enhance overall effectiveness and collaboration.
Additionally, you will review existing policies and authorities, ensuring strict compliance and effective implementation across all relevant operations and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Required:
- An active DoD Interim Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
- A bachelor's degree in cyber security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Assurance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications including CompTIA's Network+, CompTIA's Security+, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst, CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner, or industry equivalent (8570 compliant certs).
- Five years of relevant Cyber Security experience.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail.
Desired:
- Prior experience with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), U.S. Cyber Command (CYBERCOM), Joint Force Headquarters-Cyber (JFHQ-C), Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), JFHQ-DoD Information Network (JFHQ-DoDIN), or other CYBERCOM components.
