The IT Lead is a key member of the Third-Party Management (TPM) team, responsible for driving product insights, translating business and technical needs into actionable requirements, and enabling successful delivery of the TPM digital solution across the third-party lifecycle (intake, due diligence, risk assessment, onboarding, ongoing monitoring, and offboarding).

This role serves as the connective tissue between business stakeholders, technology teams, and procurement operations to ensure the solution delivers measurable risk and compliance outcomes, audit-ready traceability, and streamlined workflows for third0party onboarding and ongoing oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Requirements Leadership

  • Serve as the primary partner to the Technical Product Owner (TPO) to shape and refine requirements that support Third Party Management outcomes across Planning & Third-Party Identification, Due diligence & risk decision, contract management & onboarding, ongoing monitoring, and offboarding.
  • Translate procurement, risk, and stakeholder insights into user stories with clear acceptance criteria (including workflow states, approvals, evidence collection, and audit trail needs) in partnership with business product owners.
  • Conduct requirement elicitation through interviews, process mapping, workflow analysis, risk/control assessment walkthroughs, and feedback loops from TPM, procurement, and risk function teams.
  • Own and refine the product backlog in alignment with the product vision and roadmap, prioritizing work that improves effectiveness, compliance, and user experience.
  • Ensure traceability from requirements 1 development 1 testing 1 deployment, with clear documentation and audit-ready decisioning for third0party risk and compliance workflows.
  • Partner with the TPO, business product owner(s), risk functions, Supplier Master Data, the Buying Assistant Tool, ISRM, procurement leadership, and vendor delivery team(s) to incorporate real0world pain points into the product backlog.
  • Use data, voice-of-user feedback, and operational metrics (e.g., intake-to-onboard cycle time, SLA adherence, exception rates, rework, and production defects) to measure outcomes and drive continuous improvement.

Agile Delivery & Execution

  • Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, refinements, demos).
  • Support UAT and production validation after releases, ensuring workflows, integrations, and reporting operate as intended and meet compliance/audit expectations.
  • Collaborate daily with engineering, QA/QCSV, architecture, KPMG technical build team and business stakeholders to remove blockers and maintain delivery continuity.

Cross0Functional Leadership

  • Operate within the HPT model, collaborating closely with roles such as TPO, TPM, BPO, BA, PM and vendor delivery team
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise standards, compliance expectations, and user privacy considerations (e.g., data classification/handling, audit trail, and retention).
  • Support vendor and partner teams with requirement clarity, testing support, and release readiness activities.

Value & Measurement

  • Track KPIs and OKRs tied to product health, user experience, workflow efficiency, and business outcomes.
  • Provide insights to the TPO to influence prioritization based on value delivery and impact on user experience.
  • Participate in sprint and quarterly reviews to communicate progress, outcomes, and learnings.

Key Skills & Competencies

Technical Competencies

  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and HPT ways of working.
  • Ability to break down complex processes into clear, testable requirements.
  • Experience working with intake/workflow platforms and enterprise process automation (i.e., third0party onboarding, approvals, case management), ideally in a risk, compliance, procurement, or regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with integrations, data flows, and downstream process impacts.

Tools & Tech (preferred)

  • Backlog and delivery tools (i.e., Jira or Azure DevOps) for story writing, refinement, and sprint execution.
  • Documentation and collaboration tools (i.e., Confluence or SharePoint) for requirements, decision logs, and release notes.
  • Process mapping tools (i.e., Visio, Mural or Lucidchart) for workflow and control mapping.
  • Reporting/analytics tools (i.e., Power BI) to track operational and product KPIs.

Soft Skills

  • Clear and concise communicator, capable of engaging business leaders, engineers, and procurement teams.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor0s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product analysis, business analysis, or related techno-functional roles supporting enterprise digital products and delivery teams.

Preferred:

  • Experience in risk, compliance, procurement, security, SOX, GxP or other regulated environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate within a product model: write clear user stories and acceptance criteria, manage a backlog, and partner with engineering/QA through UAT and release.
  • Experience with third0party management and procurement risk operations (i.e., due diligence, inherent risk tiering, issue management, monitoring).

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$94,000.00 - $151,800.00
