Job DescriptionIn this role, you will oversee how systems, infrastructure, and support functions operate across multiple locations, ensuring everything runs efficiently and reliably. You'll be responsible for guiding a team of Help Desk Engineers, managing daily IT operations, and driving longer-term initiatives that strengthen and scale our technology environment. The ideal candidate brings a forward-thinking mindset and a strong focus on building systems that not only support business needs but enable continued growth.
This position is based onsite in our Jacksonville office, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an IT roadmap that aligns with organizational goals
- Lead, coach, and expand a team of IT professionals, including Help Desk staff
- Oversee Microsoft 365 and Azure environments to maintain stability, security, and performance
- Identify and deploy technology solutions that improve efficiency and support business operations
- Establish and maintain cybersecurity practices, compliance standards, and risk management protocols
- Manage network infrastructure, including WAN/LAN, VPNs, and firewall systems
- Direct disaster recovery and business continuity planning efforts
- Collaborate with executive leadership to support digital initiatives and process improvements
- Manage IT budgets, forecasts, and cost-control strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in IT, with a progression into leadership roles
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and enterprise-level networking
- Strong background in cybersecurity, compliance, and risk mitigation
- Experience overseeing IT operations across multiple sites
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional projects
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
