Full Job Description
This position will lead Eaton's Digital Employee Experience (DEX) strategy, overseeing end user computing platforms, device management, mobility services, and AI-powered workplace technologies. The leader will define the vision, roadmap, and operating model for modern workplace services, ensuring a seamless, productive, and secure employee technology experience across Eaton's global enterprise.

The role is responsible for the strategy, architecture, delivery, and continuous modernization of endpoint technologies, including device lifecycle management, mobility, Device-as-a-Service (DaaS), endpoint observability, and AI-driven support capabilities. This leader will leverage technologies such as Agentic AI, Generative AI, ServiceNow, Nexthink, and endpoint management platforms to drive automation, self-healing capabilities, proactive issue resolution, and improved employee productivity.

Working closely with business leaders, IT teams, HR, Finance, and external partners, this individual will lead the transformation of Eaton's digital workplace through innovative technologies, modern operating models, and data-driven decision making. The successful candidate will build and lead a globally distributed team while fostering an agile, customer-focused culture that continuously improves employee experience and eliminates legacy technology debt.

As a member of the IT Digital Employee Experience Leadership Team, this leader will be responsible for strategic planning, financial management, vendor partnerships, service delivery performance, and the advancement of Eaton's enterprise AI capabilities across employee-facing platforms.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $182000 - $266000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you'll do:

Digital Employee Experience & AI Strategy
• Define and execute Eaton's global AI strategy for Digital Employee Experience, leveraging Generative AI, Agentic AI, and intelligent automation across employee-facing platforms.
• Develop the roadmap for the modern digital workplace, aligning technology investments with business priorities and workforce needs.
• Establish AI governance, standards, best practices, and performance metrics while driving adoption across the organization.
AI Solutions & Platform Transformation
• Design, implement, and scale enterprise AI solutions, including LLM-powered assistants, agentic workflows, conversational interfaces, and intelligent automation.
• Integrate AI capabilities across ServiceNow, employee portals, support systems, and workplace applications to enhance employee productivity and experience.
• Drive innovation through rapid experimentation, prototyping, and continuous improvement while ensuring solutions are secure, compliant, scalable, and cost-effective.
End User Computing & Modern Workplace Services
• Lead the strategy for end user computing, mobility, modern device management, and endpoint services.
• Oversee the global device lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, support, refresh programs, and Device-as-a-Service initiatives.
• Modernize workplace technologies, reduce technical debt, and implement automation and self-healing capabilities to improve reliability and efficiency.
Observability & Employee Experience
• Utilize endpoint and infrastructure observability platforms (e.g., Nexthink, Dynatrace) to drive proactive support, automation, and data-driven insights.
• Improve incident detection, remediation, and overall employee experience through AI, analytics, and continuous service optimization.
Leadership & Business Partnership
• Lead a globally distributed team of employees, contractors, and strategic partners delivering digital workplace services.
• Partner with HR, IT, Finance, Engineering, Operations, and business leaders to align technology solutions with enterprise objectives.
• Manage vendor relationships, financial planning, budgets, and investments while driving transformation

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience leading complex technology programs, platforms, and transformation initiatives.
• Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience managing technical teams.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
• MBA or advanced degree.
• Experience leading Digital Employee Experience, End User Computing, Workplace Technology, or Enterprise AI initiatives.
• Demonstrated success implementing Generative AI, Agentic AI, intelligent automation, or AI-powered employee experiences.
• Experience with Microsoft AI technologies, Azure AI, ServiceNow, Salesforce, or related enterprise platforms.
• Knowledge of MCP and A2A protocols.
• Demonstrated expertise in prompt engineering and AI governance practices.
• Experience with endpoint observability platforms such as Nexthink and Dynatrace.
• Strong understanding of modern endpoint management and Device-as-a-Service strategies.
• Experience leading globally distributed teams and managing external service providers.
• Agile delivery experience and strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies.
• Experience evaluating technology solutions against enterprise architecture, governance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of manufacturing environments and business processes.
• Strong financial management, vendor management, and executive stakeholder engagement experience.
