IT Delivery Manager

Delivery Manager II

UST is searching for a highly experienced IT Delivery Manager to lead and manage delivery for a telecom customer engagement.

The opportunity:
• Delivery & Execution
• Own and drive end-to-end delivery of multiple projects/programs within the telecom portfolio
• Ensure high-quality delivery, adherence to timelines, and SLA commitments
• Monitor and enforce engineering metrics, quality standards, and best practices
• Drive adoption of AI tools, automation, and modern engineering practices
• Team Management & Coordination
• Manage and lead an onshore team of 20-40 members
• Coordinate effectively with offshore delivery teams
• Ensure proper resource utilization, planning, and staffing alignment
• Support fulfillment of customer staffing demands in collaboration with sourcing teams
• Customer & Stakeholder Management
• Act as a primary interface with customer leadership (Director level and below)
• Address and proactively manage customer escalations
• Build strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction and confidence
• Financial & Operational Governance
• Own financial performance of the portfolio (revenue, margin, cost optimization)
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing
• Maintain financial discipline across projects
• Track and improve utilization and efficiency metrics

What you need:
• Experience: 12-18 years
• Strong experience in IT delivery management within telecom domain
• Proven track record of managing mid-to-large size teams (20-40+)
• Experience working in onsite-offshore delivery models
• Strong understanding of data/engineering projects, delivery metrics, and quality models
• Hands-on experience with financial management, invoicing, and margin control
• Ability to manage customer escalations and complex stakeholder environments
• Experience in proposal creation and account mining initiatives
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in telecom environments
• Exposure to AI tools, automation frameworks, and modern engineering practices
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery models
• Certification in PMP / Agile / Scrum (preferred)

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Georgia

Compensation Range: $130,000-$195,000

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) program with employer matching. Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).
