Client Cross of Michigan is currently seeking an Agile IT Project Manager for our Enterprise Information Management Data Mgt & Integration/ Jefferson facility.
This Project Manager will work independently within guidelines, be responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing application and system implementation projects using a formal project management methodology.
Additional responsibilities include facilitating status meetings with project team members to collect % complete, remaining work, due dates, issues, risks, etc.
Excellent agile project management consultative, logical reasoning and analytical skills are a must.
Work will consist of a mix of complex, medium and simple projects.
Essential Company Duties and Responsibilities:
General corporate functions applied to IT: budgeting, financial and contracts management, audit, compliance, human resources, training, and development.
With general guidance and coaching, responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing application and system implementation projects using a formal project management methodology.
Typically manages the 2-3 project of complex size and multiple projects of small to moderate size and risk concurrently.
Oversees the system development process.
Develops detailed plans and schedules, including goals, risks, and resource allocation.
Monitors project metrics for significant deviations in quality, cost, or schedule.
Assists in establishing and improving project management methodologies, procedures, and policies.
Adheres to Project Management Office policies, procedures, and methodologies.
Coaches and mentors individuals on the project teams and provides feedback on performance to their leaders.
Oversees client/customer relations to ensure that service expectations are developed and met

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience with, Data Integration and Management solutions

Departmental Requirements:
Strong and seasoned Project Manager with a heavy focus on Agile methodology and ability to act as SCRUM Master
Proven competence in analyzing business needs and working with cross-functional (technical & nontechnical) teams to identify requirements and deliver enterprise solutions.
Experience leading a matrix project team to define, establish, and ensure completion of all program milestones while adhering to timelines and budgets.
Proven experience managing projects at various levels of complexity using different Project Management Methodologies.

Thorough knowledge and understanding and proven experience in Software development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
Prior experience with Data Movement and Integration or BI solutions

Departmental Preferences:
Prior experience in healthcare or payer industry is preferred
Essential Company Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
PMP certification is a plus.
Minimum five (3) years of experience in delivery and consulting role leading data movement and integration related initiatives (system integration, data warehouse build, data mart build, or similar) is required
Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
Utilizes solid knowledge of the Project Management Institute's standards and terminology; Agile and Waterfall
Extensive creativity required across areas of expertise
