About the role

Based in Montvale, this role serves as the primary IT&D partner for the North America R&D organisation. The role is responsible for aligning business priorities with technology strategy, managing regional demand, enabling digital transformation, and ensuring the effective operation of the R&D technology landscape across NAC sites.

Your responsibilities

Strategic Planning, Demand Management & Operational Excellence
  • Develop and maintain the NAC (North America) R&D technology roadmap, aligning business priorities with R&D and IT&D strategy across Montvale, NJ; Wilson, NC and Salt Lake City, UT.
  • Working closely with the wider (global and Local) IT&D teams to ensure releases are coordinated and requirements assessment from an end-to-end process perspective.
  • Lead demand management and prioritisation activities, translating business requirements into clear technology initiatives and delivery plans.
  • Champion an ACAP(As common as possible)-first approach, promoting standardised and scalable solutions while balancing local business requirements.
  • Drive simplification of the technology landscape by reducing duplication, retiring obsolete solutions, and improving the overall user experience.
  • Partner with Employee Experience teams to ensure effective IT service management across the NAC (North america) R&D organisation, including incident, request, and escalation management.
  • Act as a trusted technology advisor to the business, building strong stakeholder relationships and providing visibility of priorities, risks, and delivery outcomes.
  • Maintains a working relationship with selected vendors/suppliers involved in the delivery of development, testing, and support service

Business Analysis & Solution Delivery
  • Lead regional requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution evaluation activities, translating business needs into business cases, functional requirements, user stories, and prioritised delivery backlogs.
  • Partner with global product teams, architects, regional IT&D teams (IMEX), vendors, and delivery partners to successfully deliver, adopt, and realize value from technology solutions.
  • Support Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies while ensuring solutions align with business objectives and enterprise standards.

Cybersecurity, Compliance & Governance
  • Act as the primary IT&D point of contact for cybersecurity, compliance, risk, and technology governance across the NAC (North america) R&D organisation.
  • Identify and manage regional cyber and technology resilience risks, driving awareness within R&D site and IT leadership of site-specific threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation plans.
  • Ensure technology solutions are aligned with enterprise security, architecture, governance, cyber teams and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with Global IT&D, Employee Experience, Cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to maintain a secure and resilient technology environment.


The experience we're looking for

  • Degree qualification in science or IT subject, or life science background or related discipline.
  • Strong business domain knowledge and business acumen, familiar with IT standards and controls.
  • Ideally 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis, IT&D, Digital Transformation, Technology Consulting, or significant experience working within or alongside R&D organisations.
  • Experience supporting R&D, laboratory, scientific, quality, or regulated business environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
  • Experience with Reckitts demands process, driving technology roadmaps, and prioritisation processes.
  • Experience supporting technology projects and Knowledge of service management, eg. change and incident management for applications change initiatives.
  • Experience working with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Proven expertise in analyzing and breaking down problems and information using structured frameworks and methodologies.
  • Abreast of latest technology trends and the opportunities/risks they present to the business domain.
  • Basic knowledge of software engineering, data management, information risk, security guidelines, and architecture standards
  • Certification in any of the following is preferred; CSPO, ITIL, PMP, CBAP.
  • Competent user of requirements management tools (Azure Dev Ops is preferred).
  • Understanding of Reckitt's IT service management processes, including incident, problem, change, and request management.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work to tight timelines, under high pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks in a high paced environment without supervision with ability to set direction and manage with hands-off approach.
  • Ability to remain calm when under pressure.
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.

US salary ranges

USD $112,000.00 - $168,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
