Summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the Certain Competitive Service / Modified Direct Hire Authority.   • You will identify and describe target vulnerability for test objective creation.
  • You will communicate new developments, breakthroughs, challenges, and lessons learned to leadership, and internal and external customers.
  • You will conduct analysis of physical and logical digital technologies.
  • You will maintain awareness of advancements in hardware and software technologies.
  • You will provide system background knowledge to red team operators during system vulnerability discovery, validation, and test objective execution.
  • You will devise, document, and validate cyber operation strategy and planning documents.

  • This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code Exploitation Analyst, proficiency level Advanced the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the federal service, or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing cyber operations planning or exploitation analysis or equivalent experience. Specialized experience includes some or all the following: 1) Decomposing complex computer systems / networking configurations in support of system access and exploitation. 2) Generating cyber operations or cybersecurity evaluation strategies and associated objectives focused on operational impacts of the targeted system or system under test. 3) Developing or updating organizational policies and procedures related to cybersecurity assessments. 4) Utilizing knowledge of penetration testing and/or red teaming concept of operations.

In addition to the above specialized experience, you must meet the following:

  4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
