IT Business Manager

MUST be local to New York City, Hybrid Schedule at least 3 days onsite

As IT Business Manager, you will partner with Technology leadership to support financial planning, workforce management, reporting, and governance across a complex technology portfolio. This role ensures accurate, timely, and decision-ready information that enables effective oversight, prioritization, and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain rolling financial forecasts by integrating workforce changes, project timelines, vendor activity, and contract milestones.
  • Analyze financial performance, variances, risks, and savings opportunities, and present actionable insights to Technology leadership.
  • Ensure accuracy of budgets, cost centers, funding sources, workforce data, vendor details, and related metadata.
  • Prepare consistent leadership reporting materials and support meeting agendas, governance forums, action tracking, and escalation of key risks.
  • Maintain workforce views, track joiner, mover, and leaver activity, and coordinate with HR and functional partners on talent processes.
  • Monitor vendor, contractor, and contract timing, renewals, funding impacts, and related dependencies.
  • Support roadmap and portfolio planning by validating initiative readiness, budget alignment, dependencies, and planning impacts.

  • 10+ years of experience in technology business management, finance, or operations.
  • Experience supporting senior Technology leaders in large, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong financial, analytical, reporting, and executive communication skills.
