IT Business ManagerMUST be local to New York City, Hybrid Schedule at least 3 days onsiteSalary up to $200kNo Sponsorship Available, No Third-Party ResumesAs IT Business Manager, you will partner with Technology leadership to support financial planning, workforce management, reporting, and governance across a complex technology portfolio. This role ensures accurate, timely, and decision-ready information that enables effective oversight, prioritization, and execution.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain rolling financial forecasts by integrating workforce changes, project timelines, vendor activity, and contract milestones.
- Analyze financial performance, variances, risks, and savings opportunities, and present actionable insights to Technology leadership.
- Ensure accuracy of budgets, cost centers, funding sources, workforce data, vendor details, and related metadata.
- Prepare consistent leadership reporting materials and support meeting agendas, governance forums, action tracking, and escalation of key risks.
- Maintain workforce views, track joiner, mover, and leaver activity, and coordinate with HR and functional partners on talent processes.
- Monitor vendor, contractor, and contract timing, renewals, funding impacts, and related dependencies.
- Support roadmap and portfolio planning by validating initiative readiness, budget alignment, dependencies, and planning impacts.
Qualifications- 10+ years of experience in technology business management, finance, or operations.
- Experience supporting senior Technology leaders in large, matrixed organizations.
- Strong financial, analytical, reporting, and executive communication skills.
- High attention to detail, data integrity, judgment, follow-through, and ability to manage competing priorities.
