The analyst is hands-on with data performing analysis, documenting data mappings/relationships and business rules, executing data testing and reconciliation from source through EDP and downstream consumption, and technically investigating data issues to drive resolution with engineering and application teams. The role also collaborates with Domain, Solution, and Enterprise IT Architects and delivery teams to define functional and technical requirements, evaluate workflow/process improvements, explore conceptual solution design options, and play a key role throughout the application lifecycle for small and large development efforts. Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications: Technical Knowledge/Skill: 3 Enable business users to find, understand, and use Customer data responsibly by documenting data definitions, metric logic, and dataset guidance (e.g., FAQs/common issues). 3 Elicit and document data/analytics requirements (user stories, acceptance criteria) and translate business questions into data definitions and testable outcomes. 3 Perform hands-on data analysis (profiling, trends/outliers, reconciliation) to support insights and troubleshoot data quality issues. 3 Create and validate source-to-target mappings, business rules, and lineage/relationship documentation (Source 14 EDP 14 downstream consumption). 3 Execute data validation and testing (source-to-target checks, transformation logic verification, completeness/exception analysis) and support UAT/defect triage. 3 Use SQL (or equivalent querying) and Excel to validate data, reconcile results, and produce repeatable analysis. 3 Understand data flows and integration concepts (pipelines, latency, transformations) and how upstream changes impact downstream reporting. 3 Triage data issues with technical evidence, isolate likely root cause (source anomaly vs. mapping/transformation vs. timing/integration), and coordinate resolution with engineering and application teams. 3 Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences; facilitate discussions to align on definitions, assumptions, and next steps. 3 Comfortable working in agile delivery teams and using common tools (e.g., Jira/Azure DevOps) to manage requirements, testing artifacts, and issues. 3 Maintain clear, organized documentation and follow data/IT standards and controls as applicable (definitions, mappings, test evidence, issue notes). 3 Use SQL (or equivalent querying) and Excel to validate data, reconcile results, and produce repeatable analysis. 3 Understand data flows and integration concepts (pipelines, latency, transformations) and how upstream changes impact downstream reporting. 3 Triage data issues with technical evidence, isolate likely root cause (source anomaly vs. mapping/transformation vs. timing/integration), and coordinate resolution with engineering and application teams. 3 Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences; facilitate discussions to align on definitions, assumptions, and next steps. 3 Comfortable working in agile delivery teams and using common tools (e.g., Jira/Azure DevOps) to manage requirements, testing artifacts, and issues. 3 Maintain clear, organized documentation and follow data/IT standards and controls as applicable (definitions, mappings, test evidence, issue notes).
