Job SummaryThe IT Application Product Owner is responsible for defining, managing, and executing the strategic roadmap for Client pricing technology ecosystem, with primary ownership of the Vendavo platform suite (Deal Manager, Price Manager, and integrations). This role serves as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure pricing, quoting, approval workflows, and governance capabilities effectively support commercial objectives while maintaining compliance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Own product roadmap for Vendavo Deal Manager, Price Manager, and integrations with Salesforce and SAP.
- Manage backlog of enhancements, technical improvements, and business capabilities.
- Drive pricing process improvements including deal review, approval workflows, and quoting efficiency.
- Serve as vendor liaison for Vendavo and related technology partners.
- Ensure governance compliance with SOX, approval workflows, segregation of duties, and audit readiness.
- Engage stakeholders across Pricing, Deal Desk, Salesforce, SAP, Commercial Operations, and IT.
- Lead delivery lifecycle including requirements definition, solution design, testing, deployment, and production support.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Application Management, or Business Systems Analysis.
- Experience supporting pricing, quoting, sales operations, or revenue management platforms.
- Strong understanding of business process design, workflow automation, and application governance.
- Experience managing software vendors and third-party technology partners.
- Knowledge of enterprise application development and deployment methodologies.
- Proven success partnering with business leaders to deliver technology solutio ns.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Vendavo Deal Manager, Price Manager, or other pricing optimization platforms.
- Experience with Salesforce, SAP, CPQ, or commercial operations functions.
- Knowledge of enterprise integrations, APIs, and data management concepts.
- Experience supporting SOX-controlled environments and audit requirements.
- Agile Product Owner or equivalent product management experience.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across business and IT.
Certifications (if any)- SAFe Agile Product Owner certification preferred.
- PMP or equivalent product management certifications are a plus.
