Full Job Description
As a Senior National Partner Manager, you will be tasked with creating and implementing effective account development and management strategies to win strategic revenue opportunities that create mutual value with selected partners with the potential to drive over $50 million in a calendar year. HQ partners share two characteristics: the ability to drive significant growth with us ($50 million annually) due to their market presence, and coverage of more than one geography. What Will You Do? Primary responsibilities include: • Create and execute strategic partner business plans. • Develop business relationships at all levels and across all departments, including sales, sales management, product marketing, procurement, marketing, technical support, and business management; build professional relationships with key executives. • Maintain a list of key partner contacts, and create and maintain partner profiles. • Identify short and long-term partner revenue opportunities, engage the appropriate SentinelOne resources to move deals through the sales cycle, and accurately forecast account sales. • Provide sales training to partner sales teams. • Identify technical skill gaps within each partner and build plans to address them. • Understand and communicate all SentinelOne channel programs, and communicate the partner's programs and initiatives to SentinelOne territory teams. • Keep partners informed of product announcements and promotion plans, channel programs, and industry trends; work with assigned product managers to successfully manage product launches, product promotions, and product phase-out plans. • Execute quarterly company-wide initiatives, create marketing plans with ROI analysis on all expenditures, and work with the partner marketing team to implement and track the success of those plans. • Exceed assigned revenue objectives and maintain high levels of partner satisfaction. What Skills and Knowledge Will You Bring? Ideal candidates will have: • A minimum of 5 or more years of experience in high tech security and SaaS sales, or equivalent experience. • Experience working with large national partners such as ePlus, Presidio, CDW, and SHI. • Knowledge of multiple go-to-market motions, including MSSP, resell, and influence. • Demonstrated success in penetrating partner accounts. • The ability to present moderately complex value propositions and solutions to director and executive level contacts. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • General knowledge of the security industry and security solutions; knowledge of security technology, including EPP, EDR, and MDR, is preferred. • Strong interpersonal skills, including experience in sales situations, and a self-starter mentality. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is preferred. The range posted here is the on-target earnings (OTE) for this position, inclusive of base salary and commissions. For some locations, a different pay range may apply.
