Full Job Description
Job Summary:

The Intensive Services Foster Care (ISFC) Programs Clinical Supervisor (CS) provides clinical support to the Intensive Services Behavioral Health and the Intensive Services Special Health teams. The CS operates from a strengths-based, family-centered, team-driven, community-based perspective. The CS oversees program adherence to the County contracts and compliance with regulatory requirements established by Community Care Licensing, Dept. of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and Dept. of Mental Health (DMH). The CS directly supervises team members including the In-Home Support Counselor (IHBS), ISFC therapists and the nursing team in the ISFC Special Health Program.

The ideal candidate for this position must be able to work independently and have well developed planning and organization skills. The CS should have strong leadership skills and the ability to conduct on the job training and coaching. The CS must model healthy teamwork practices as evidenced by regular communication with the teams, and cooperation with and support of the teams' plans. The CS must have strong clinical and quality assurance skills to review and approve documentation as required by DMH and DCFS.

Requirements:
  • Must be Licensed in one of the following: Ph.D., Psy.D., LCSW, or LMFT.
  • A minimum of two years, in the behavioral health field working with children, adolescents and families.
  • A minimum of two years supervisory experience in a clinical setting.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in DMH documentation, including, but not limited to the completion of clinical notes and treatment plans.
  • Must possess an understanding of cultural diversity and working from a family-centered, strengths-based perspective.
  • Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to use the computer and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word for word processing and Microsoft Outlook for email use.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as case notes, policies and procedures, and safety rules as required by DMH.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of clients or employees of the organization.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, agency representatives, and the general public.
  • Bilingual Spanish Preferred (verbal and written skillset).
  • Valid California driver's license; current automobile insurance; have and maintain a clean driving record acceptable to the organization's insurance company; have immediate access to his or her vehicle during work hours.

Position Location: Lancaster, CA

Salary Range: $87,000 up to $100,455 per year

Additional $5,000 per year bilingual Spanish differential.

Flexible schedules are available upon successful completion of introductory period.

Eligible employees may request up to 5 days of Paid Time Off to study for their licensure.
