Full Job Description
This job oversees all stages of the business intelligence cycle including understanding business objective, collecting business requirements and translating them into data requirements, designing and developing reports or dashboards (code and visualization), scheduling and deployment of business intelligence components in accordance with supplied standards and best practices, and completing accurate and timely documentation. Collaborates with business and technology departments to understand system data and its use, data analysis and validation, and providing support around the data and how it is integrated. Monitors production systems for issues and resolves issues or elevate them for resolution when necessary. Work Experience Required - 1 year of experience with SQL programming language, data analysis and profiling, relational database systems, reporting, dashboards and business intelligence systems. 1 year of experience as business analyst, collaborating with end users to define metrics and business requirements. Preferred - 1 year of experience with Oracle, SQL programming language, and data analysis and profiling. 1 year of experience with data visualization using Tableau, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise edition and/or Crystal Reports. 1 year of healthcare experience. Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs) 3 SQL and data analysis skills. 3 Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process. 3 Strong interpersonal skills. 3 Effective critical thinking and analytical skills and ability to apply those skills to meet business needs. 3 Knowledge of reporting and business intelligence concepts and ability to collaborate with end users to define metrics and business requirements. 3 Ability to effectively manage multiple demands. Job Duties 3 Participates in and leads classroom instruction for at least 6 unique courses offered in the Revenue Cycle Course Catalog. 3 Identifies and provides recommendations to leadership for identified student learning opportunities. 3 Develops curriculum for new and existing courses and provides organizational direction for online-files on training drive. 3 Delivering training or curriculum development, including experience using various audio/visual equipment for presentations and training sessions. 3 Develops logical modeling and presentation solutions to implement requirements using best practices within the business intelligence environments. 3 Works with business stakeholders to understand their business objectives and develop analytical solutions to improve business operations. 3 Maintains and develops documentation to identify and define processes or procedures. 3 Manages data by following best practices. 3 Supports and monitors business intelligence systems and processes. 3 Administers business intelligence server(s) and/or processes. 3 Performs other related duties as required.
