Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced
IPT Lead - Module Manufacturing - Electrical Power Systems to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Product Director, Electrical Power Systems the IPT Lead - EPS Module Manufacturing will oversee end-to-end battery pack production with a focus on quality and on time delivery.
Key Duties and Responsibilities - Lead a multi-disciplinary team of technicians and manufacturing engineers.
- Drive process improvements in area of material handling, production line improvements and test management as well as identify key areas for 6S improvements and implementation.
- Work with cross-functional leadership on material ordering, planning and test software development.
- Work with quality to implement control improvements and disposition of non-conformance hardware.
- Mentor and support engineering staff in areas of depth of knowledge, manufacturing standards and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and maintain production reporting dashboards including material tracking, deliveries, yield rates and be able to showcase improvements over time.
- Support new product introductions and pilot builds by establishing repeatable processes and clear documentation.
Required Qualifications and Skills - Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
- 10+ years' experience working in a manufacturing environment developing key build procedures and at least 2 years' experience managing manufacturing teams.
- Experience with welding equipment regarding battery pack production and safety.
- Experience implementing 6S process improvements.
- Experience reporting on key production metrics to leadership as well as developing dashboard trackers.
- Experience with manufacturing software such as AEGIS or Manufacturo as well as MES and ERP tools.
- U.S. Person or lawful permanent resident to comply with U.S. government space technology export regulations.

Salary Range
$155,000-$210,000 USD
