About this roleWe are looking for an IP Litigation Associate with 3-7 years of experience to join a high-volume, growing patent litigation team within the Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit. What will you be doing?- Handling patent litigation matters across all phases, from case assessment through trial
- Working primarily with the Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit on technically complex IP disputes
- Collaborating with partners and associates across offices (virtually or in-person) on a busy and growing docket
- Developing and articulating legal strategies for clients in the technology and hardware space
- Managing multiple active cases simultaneously in a fast-paced litigation environment
Key Requirements- Patent litigation experience is a hard threshold requirement (3-7 years)
- Technical background in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or AI (mechanical engineering considered; bioengineering/chemical engineering not preferred)
- Active bar license in state of residence (or commitment to obtain ASAP)
- Compensation expectations must align with the $215K-$260K range (candidates from large markets like NYC, LA, Seattle, DC have historically been priced out)
- Stable career trajectory with minimal unexplained lateral moves
