Position Details:- Draft and prosecute patent applications
- Partner with the D&M team and in-house teams to develop and execute thoughtful and effective global IP strategies
- Draft opinions of counsel
- Conduct due diligence investigations and perform freedom-to-operate and landscape analyses
Qualifications: - A degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering with relevant experience in related technologies
- Must be a member of the U.S. patent bar
- Minimum of 2 years of high-volume patent drafting and prosecution experience required; experience within a law firm environment is strongly preferred

Salary Range
The salary range for this position applies to the state of Washington. The salary range reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. A reasonable estimate of the current range for attorney positions is: $165,000-230,000, or $90,000-$165,000 for patent agent roles.
