Performs all modalities of Neurophysiology/Neurovascular and other Intraoperative Monitoring with minimal supervision. Specifically this will include, but is not limited to: cerebellopontine angle tumor surgery, intracranial tumor and aneurysm surgery/procedures, spinal surgeries including surgery for spinal deformity, thoracic aortic aneurysm surgery, and peripheral nerve surgeries. Participates in the development, selection, and implementation of software and procedures needed to provide optimal monitoring. Provides adequate recordings with proficiency in troubleshooting technical problems, keeps the surgeons and IOM physicians informed of any significant changes, including the loss of waveforms being monitored.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree BS in Neuroscience preferred
  • upon hire: National Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring
  • Experience with networking and computer programming

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree Scientific discipline related to the biological sciences and in particular to Neuroscience
  • 2 years Intraoperative Monitoring experience
  • Experience in neurophysiology and neuroanatomy

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
