This role requires the ability to drive high-impact engagements with clients and prospects to better understand their specific needs and propose potential solutions around existing capabilities, and to translate insights from across our investment platform into clear, compelling messages for clients, prospects, consultants, and internal stakeholders.

The Investment Strategist will curate macro, equity, and fixed income perspectives into a more prescriptive, consistent narrative that supports more consultative conversations between sales, relationship managers and their clients. In doing so, the Investment Strategist will connect the firm's capital market views and investment insights to priority strategies and key initiatives, while flexing between equity, fixed income, and multi-asset opportunities depending on market conditions and client demand. Rowe Price's positioning in the market and ongoing sales and client retention efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain broad knowledge of investment perspectives across asset classes by attending relevant equity, fixed income and multi-asset investment meetings
  • Leveraging insights from the investment staff, partners with existing Global Equity and Fixed Income Investment Strategists as well as Portfolio Specialist/Portfolio Analyst teams within the Investment Specialist Group to construct and deliver presentations, content and messaging that is broadly reflective of T. Rowe Price's views on global capital markets.
  • Represent our capital market views in meetings with prospects, clients, and consultants. Meeting types may vary to include one-to-one meetings as well as larger group presentations of 50 or more.
  • Be conversant about T. Rowe Price's broader investment offerings to support conversations that match client needs with appropriate T. Rowe Price product or solution. When necessary, handoff to Portfolio Analyst or Portfolio Specialist when additional depth is required on any given strategy or solution.
  • Support the gathering and retention of assets under management by working closely with sales and relationship management professionals, with a focus on the Broker/Dealer, Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and Regional Bank distribution teams within our US Intermediary channel. Though their work may extend to other audiences and channels as needed.
  • Drive commercial growth through client engagement, prospecting, consultant support, marketing, and distribution partnership. Shape solutions, content, and positioning that connect investment insights to evolving client needs.
  • A heavy travel schedule will exist, one can expect 35-50% of their time on the road supporting our distribution partners
