Job DescriptionThe Digital Data Analyst will serve as a key partner within the WCIB platform organization, supporting reporting, statements, invoices, testing, and digital capabilities. This role is much more than a traditional reporting or dashboard analyst position. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the underlying data environment, translating business needs into data-driven insights and solutions.
This individual will work with large, complex data sets to uncover trends, answer critical business questions, and provide actionable recommendations that support strategic decision-making. Success in this role requires a blend of analytical expertise, financial services knowledge, strong SQL and database skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
The team is also focused on modernizing reporting and data capabilities, creating an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems, learning new systems, and helping drive transformation within a highly visible business area.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Eight or more years of statistical and/or data analytics experience
Preferred Skills/Experience- Strong experience working with analytics and statistical tools such as SQL, R, Python, Excel, Hadoop, SAS, SPSS, geospatial tools, and other data analysis technologies
- Advanced proficiency with SQL, database querying, and working with underlying data structures
- Experience with analytics, advanced analytics, statistics, predictive modeling, and business intelligence solutions
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in large, complex data sets
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into analytical and technical solutions
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with business stakeholders, facilitate discussions, and communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience supporting financial services, banking, treasury, custody, investment services, or related industries preferred
- Experience supporting reporting modernization, data transformation, cloud migration, or legacy system modernization initiatives preferred
- Demonstrated project management and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to operate independently, learn new systems quickly, and deliver results with minimal direction

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $133,365.00 - $156,900.00
