The Investment Performance & Reporting job prepares investment performance and analytics data needed by portfolio management, marketing, client services, legal/compliance, and additional areas within the enterprise. In addition to performance support, the job contributes to implementing improvements in performance systems, as well as projects which arise in support of the enterprise. This job serves as a subject matter expert and is responsible over large-scale project work that supports the enterprise, working with limited oversight from managers.
Key Responsibilities and Duties- Owns the analysis of data related to quarterly oversight meetings, statistical analysis, outlier analysis, assets under management (AUM) reporting, and peer universe rankings.
- Reviews and regularly presents performance reports for required corporate governance and oversight committee meetings.
- Utilizes core processes including rate-of-return decomposition, performance attribution and portfolio analytics reporting to facilitate work in assigned function.
- Analyzes and explains investment performance results and portfolio construction for complex products.
- Provides clear and understandable description of more complex and nuanced investment outcomes to stakeholders including senior management, investment committee members, fund board members, front office investment teams, Client Portfolio Management (CPM), product management, sales, marketing, and client services.
- Maintains and develops policies and methodologies, in compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) standards.

Required Skills:- Technical Performance Expertise - Deep command of return calculations (TWR/DMWR), performance attribution, and portfolio analytics, with specific experience in multi-asset managed account structures.
- Data Analysis & Outlier Investigation - Proficiency in data reconciliation, dispersion analysis, and statistical review supporting reporting cycles.
- Stakeholder Communication - Ability to translate complex performance outcomes into clear narratives for Portfolio Managers and Portfolio Assistants in support of client reporting.
- Performance Platform Ownership - Hands-on experience as a sophisticated business owner of an enterprise performance system (e.g., First Rate) including configuration of composites, benchmarks, and reporting hierarchies and asset class structures.
- Project Leadership - Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale, multi-stakeholder initiatives independently - directly relevant to the upcoming platform transition.
Preferred Skills:- Managed Account Specialization - UMA/SMA sleeve-level performance and overlay reporting.
- Target Platform Familiarity - Prior configuration or migration experience with the incoming performance system.
- SQL / Data Query Skills - Ability to investigate data issues directly in performance databases.
- Lean / Process Improvement Mindset - Alignment with the team's operating model of sustained progress and process improvement.
- Benchmark & Vendor Knowledge - Bloomberg, FactSet, or index and data provider relationships.

Base Pay Range: $118,000/yr - $178,000/yr
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
