Core Responsibilities- Prepares manager oversight memos, annual fund reviews, and monthly fund status materials. Provides analysis of Vanguard's funds and advisors and participates in status review meetings.
- Develops and maintains broad and deep knowledge of Vanguard's funds and advisors. Assists analysts and client engagement with clients calls and meetings, does not discuss investments directly with clients. Supports senior analysts with identifying potential advisers and develops list of prospects utilizing databases and industry research.
- Monitors and owns the ongoing maintenance of manager search dashboard. Supports the analysis of potential advisors by constructing background data and memos. Identifies and recommends process improvements, including reporting enhancements and technology initiatives to support investment product development.
- Serves as a subject matter expert and writes commentaries on Vanguard mutual funds. Provides thought-leadership on investment-related topics. Presents market and economic overviews to crew and assists in shaping the investment message presented at various forums. Responds to fund, market, and advisor inquiries and supports internal business partners as required.
- Maintains broad knowledge of industry, market, and company trends to understand the investment process and fund performance.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications- Three years related work experience required.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
- CFA preferred.
