Job Overview
The Investment Operations Director provides support to the Chief Investment Officer (7 CIO8) and the Investment Office broadly for the day-to-day implementation and monitoring of the approximately $4.3bn Endowment.
Additional duties include, but are not limited to:
Prepare performance and analytic reports; maintaining and enhancing risk, liquidity, cash planning and exposure models; working closely with the University's Finance Office, custodian, and other outside software and service providers
Assisting in the periodic preparation of Investment Subcommittee materials.
Provide recommendations for new processes, analysis, and approaches that will enhance the overall effectiveness and accuracy of investment reporting and analysis and streamlining of workflow
Work Interactions
The Director of Operations is one of the most important positions in managing the universitys financial assets. This position reports directly to the Chief Investment Officer. This position also interacts with numerous people in the Finance Office. The Director provides critical reporting to the CIO and investment team, which enables portfolio rebalancing, cash management, and risk management.
Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years work experience, preferably in accounting or investment operations
Strong Academic credentials, Bachelors degree, preferably in finance, accounting, or a relevant subject area. CPA preferred.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Coding experience is appreciated but not required.
Experience with Solovis, Burgiss, BNY Custodian systems helpful.
Detail oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities and a commitment to data accuracy
Able to learn new systems and workflows quickly
Demonstrated general interest in investments and asset management.

Pay Range:
The projectedsalary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$135,188.00 - $264,291.85Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidates individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the Universitys business needs and external factors.
