What You'll Do:

We are seeking a Nashville based Investment Management Operations Transformation Analyst to join Investment Management Operations in Global Technology & Operations.

Investment Management Operations is currently leading a multi-year transformation initiative focused on modernizing and simplifying the firm's operating model through the implementation of SimCorp. This strategic program will consolidate legacy platforms, standardize business processes, improve data quality, strengthen operational controls, and enhance scalability across the organization.

This role will partner directly with operational teams, technology partners, and project stakeholders to support the analysis, design, testing, validation, and implementation of future-state business processes as AllianceBernstein modernizes its operating platform.

Transformation Analysts serve as embedded business partners within specific operational disciplines and play a key role in ensuring business requirements are understood, solutions are validated, and operational readiness is achieved throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Successful candidates will initially support a designated operational workstream and may have opportunities to rotate across additional business functions as implementation phases are completed. This rotational model provides broad exposure to the investment management lifecycle while offering the opportunity to contribute to one of the firm's most significant strategic initiatives.

This role spans a broad range of functions including:
  • Pre- and post-trade compliance
  • Trade support, confirmation, and settlement
  • Reconciliation and operational controls
  • Security reference data management
  • Pricing and valuation operations
  • Corporate actions processing
  • Performance measurement and attribution
  • Client and regulatory reporting
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to document business requirements, process flows, procedures, and operating controls.
  • Create, execute, and maintain test scenarios, test scripts, and validation plans to support system implementation and business readiness activities.
  • Perform end-to-end business process validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements and operational expectations.
  • Identify, document, track, and assist in the resolution of defects, business exceptions, and process gaps throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Validate data conversions, system integrations, reporting outputs, and operational workflows between legacy platforms and SimCorp.
  • Participate in project working groups, requirements workshops, testing forums, and defect triage meetings.
  • Support change management and operational readiness activities, including training, procedure development, and knowledge transfer.
  • Maintain project documentation, action logs, issue trackers, and implementation artifacts to support program governance.
  • Analyze operational impacts of system and process changes and recommend opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, control, and risk management.
  • Partner with operational teams across pre- and post-trade compliance, trade confirmation, trade settlement, reconciliation, security reference data management, pricing, corporate actions, performance and attribution, and client reporting to support implementation activities and business transformation initiatives.

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience within investment management, asset servicing, investment operations, consulting, business analysis, or financial technology.
  • Experience in one or more investment operations disciplines, including: Trade Support and Settlements, Trade Confirmation, Investment Compliance, Security Master and Reference Data, Reconciliation and Control, Pricing Operations, Performance and Attribution, Corporate Actions, and Client Reporting
  • Experience creating business requirements, test cases, process flows, or operating procedures.
  • Knowledge of investment management workflows and investment products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
