Job Description

Our Equity Capital Markets team is actively looking for an Analyst for our New York office. Our ECM team will provide Analysts with a high level of responsibility and extensive access to senior management and clients. The ECM transaction teams are typically small in size, providing Analysts with significant responsibilities and opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills early in their career.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare client pitch materials and complex financial models
  • Evaluate current and historical market data to support recommendations to clients
  • Support Equity, SPAC and Convertibles transactions across all of Oppenheimer's core coverage sectors
  • Research and maintain team databases
  • Manage the execution of equity and equity-linked offerings and communicate with the client's Management team and key external parties
  • Participate in various marketing and recruiting activities of the firm

Qualifications:
  • Must have 1+ years of full-time work experience, current students are not eligible
  • Sales driven mentality with a strong capital markets acumen
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Elevated attention to detail and consistency in work product
  • Strong work ethic and team players
  • Equity, SPAC or Convertibles experience preferred

Compensation:

For job postings in New York City, Oppenheimer is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. This salary range is specific to New York and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making salary decisions including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 at the time of this posting. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus.
