ResponsibilitiesGlobal Banking and Advisory (GLBA) combines wholesale coverage with world-class product financing and advisory expertise within one team. We are looking to hire an experienced Analyst into the Equity Capital Markets team. The Analyst will report to the Head of Equity Capital Markets.We provide our issuer clients (corporates, financial institutions, public sector) with capital raising solutions, focusing on equity and equity-linked transactions. The team leverages our worldwide expertise and in-depth sectorial knowledge, as we aim to meet our clients' financing needs.The Analyst will work in a generalist capacity within a team of experienced Corporate Finance professionals and will have extensive exposure within the bank and with clients. In addition to the usual responsibilities expected of an Analyst, the successful candidate will be expected to:Prepare financial analyses and models - specifically company valuationsContribute to, and help develop ideas for, potential transactionsBe proactively involved in every phase of the deal processPerform and present ad hoc research to support generation of new business opportunitiesCoordinating with internal functions to obtain all required approvals for the execution of transactionsUnderstand product and market dynamics through comparables and markets analysisKeep up with industry trends Profile requiredREQUIRED:Strong analytical skillsKnowledge of corporate finance valuation and financial accounting conceptsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in teams Excellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated work ethic, positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to multi-taskSIE, Series 7/79 and Series 63 certifications. If not already obtained, must complete within five months of hireTECHNICAL SKILLS:Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and WordPRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE:At least 1 year of Investment Banking experienceEDUCATION:Bachelors Degree from a top-tier university (preferably in Economics, Accounting, or Finance) COMPENSATION:Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience.
