Summary of the Role: Wealthspire is in search of an Advisor to join our institutional and private client wealth team. The primary mission of this position is twofold: pursue significant new wealth management and financial planning business opportunities developed while working with plan participants and provide group and individual educational services to retirement plan participants. Warm lead generation stems from existing institutional clients' employee populations. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated and has a passion for helping individuals with financial solutions to enhance their clients' financial futures, and a strong ability to both lead group meetings and have more intimate one-on-one consulting sessions.

Essential Duties and Responsabilities:
  • Identify and cultivate individual financial consulting and wealth management opportunities.
  • Work closely with Wealthspire Plan Advisors, and plan sponsors to coordinate and develop financial wellness programs, participant education & communications and financial wellness services.
  • Provide leadership in developing services and programs to increase participant outcomes and overall plan health measures.
  • Work closely with recordkeeper partners to understand and leverage their tools and resources
  • Provide primarily virtual as well as onsite and web-based employee coaching to individuals and groups customized to demographic needs.
  • Develop summary reports of financial wellness, individual consulting events and services provided to plan sponsor clients.
  • Monitor plan demographics and identify opportunities to increase enrollment and deferrals for each plan and each individual.
  • Review individual participant's allocation, savings rates, and financial goals alignment to both their short-term financial needs and their long-term income replacement goals.
  • Review individual participant's financial goals to assist with providing custom financial services or referrals.
  • Track plan and participant activities to develop and maintain overall Plan Advisory business metrics.
  • Handle plan sponsor and participant matters in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Pursue professional development opportunities to include additional licenses and/or designations, actively participate in internal and external training sessions and networking events.
  • Positive team player who works effectively within an entrepreneurial environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
  • 3-5 years of experience working with individual's financial consulting, wealth management and/or retirement plans
  • Bachelors' Degree in Finance or related field of study
  • Series 65 license or equivalent (must be obtained within 90 days of employment)
  • Experience working with Power Point
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple projects
  • Strong client service attitude, positive team player and contributor
  • Ability and willingness to go above and beyond to serve clients, contribute to the team and develop oneself
  • Travel required to service existing clients (40-50% travel requirement, with some overnight)

Education and/or Experience:
  • CFP, AFC, ChFC, CPFA, CRPC, or similar credential.
  • Experience with workplace financial wellness, participant education, or financial planning.
  • Experience presenting to employee groups or conducting onsite education meetings.
  • Familiarity with 401(k), 403(b), rollover, retirement income, and broader household planning issues.
  • Experience using CRM, financial planning software, digital wellness tools, or recordkeeper platforms.
  • Ability to identify planning and wealth opportunities without using a hard-sales approach.

What We Offer:

We're proud to offer a competitive salary, PTO & paid holidays, 401(k) with match, and more. The base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $110,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
