Investigation Analyst - All Source Surefox North America is a veteran owned company that strives to create a diverse and unique culture of trained and talented individuals. We are currently seeking an experienced mid-level Investigative Analyst with high integrity and professionalism to join our team in the Foster City, California area. As a trusted security investigations professional, you will play a vital role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting complex information and data in support of security investigations and security operations for a specific client. The Investigative Analyst position supports Surefox operations by applying critical thinking and sound investigative practices to complex matters, conducting interviews, collecting and documenting evidence, preparing comprehensive reports and briefings, and communicating findings to relevant stakeholders. The Investigative Analyst will also support the development and maintenance of operational standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), performance tracking mechanisms, training documentation, and investigative platforms. This position requires a high degree of trust, discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality. The Investigative Analyst may be exposed to sensitive or potentially objectionable information and must be capable of professionally reviewing, discussing, and documenting such information in accordance with established investigative standards. The Investigative Analyst will foster a collaborative and flexible environment within Surefox and seek to build productive relationships with the client, internal and external partners, security service providers, and other relevant organizations. The Investigative Analyst shall demonstrate excellent professionalism in interacting with corporate leadership, Surefox personnel, client contacts, and external partners. Salary range - $110,000.00 - $119,000.00 Work Schedule: Monday - Friday - 8:00-5 :00 pm PST **This position is in office in Foster City, CA** Salary range - $110,000.00 - $119,000.00 Work Schedule: Monday - Friday - 8:00-5 :00 pm  PST **This position is in office in Foster City, CA** What you will do: • Represent Surefox to external clients in a professional manner and uphold Surefox’s high standards of professionalism, transparency, candor, confidentiality, and trust. • Serve as a direct support analyst to a specific client performing security investigation functions, including data analysis, investigative research, interviews, evidence collection, documentation, and preparation of comprehensive reports and briefings. • Apply critical thinking and analytical methodologies to identify relevant facts, patterns, relationships, risks, and investigative leads. • Proactively identify, locate, and secure relevant evidence and information beyond materials initially provided or specifically identified by the lead investigator. • Maintain accurate and comprehensive case documentation, including case information, evidence, involved parties, investigative activity, and other relevant records within designated investigative platforms. • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information, investigations, client matters, and potentially objectionable data. • Coordinate daily activities with internal and external partners and assist with quality assurance efforts and the onboarding of security partners when appropriate. • Develop an understanding of key internal client stakeholders and VIP customers and ensure investigative support is aligned with their operational needs and priorities. • Support the development, documentation, implementation, and continuous improvement of operational standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), performance tracking mechanisms, and training documentation for the Security Investigations team. • Support scheduling, logistics, investigative platform administration, record keeping, and other program requirements necessary for effective Security Investigations operations. • Integrate into the Surefox team as a contributing member of Surefox’s overall security and investigative services offerings. • Provide input to the client and Surefox team on process improvements designed to increase the effectiveness, quality, and consistency of investigative support and enhance client satisfaction. • Travel approximately 25% in support of client requirements, primarily within the San Francisco Bay Area, with up to approximately 10% out-of-state travel. What is required: • Demonstrated experience supporting complex investigations, security investigations, intelligence operations, corporate security, law enforcement, or other relevant investigative environments. • Be able to gather, analyze, interpret, and document complex information and data in support of investigations and security operations. • Be able to conduct interviews and appropriately collect, preserve, document, and manage investigative information and evidence. • Demonstrate a strong history of maintaining trust and strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information and situations. • Be able to identify investigative requirements and proactively pursue relevant evidence or information without requiring specific direction for every action. • Experience supporting security operations programs and developing or maintaining operational documentation, processes, or Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). • Familiarity with physical security and investigative systems, including CCTV, access control/badging systems, reporting platforms, or similar technologies. • Be able to accurately track, document, organize, and report investigative activity, evidence, involved parties, and case progress. • Be able to communicate findings to a range of audiences in a clear, concise, and professional manner that enables decision makers to act quickly. • Demonstrate strong analytical, critical-thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. • Be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, deliver investigative products and assessments in a timely manner, and function effectively in a high-paced business environment. • Demonstrate the ability to operate independently, exercise sound judgment, and execute assigned responsibilities with limited supervision. • Demonstrate the ability to coordinate effectively across functions and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. • Be flexible and able to rapidly adjust priorities, investigative approaches, and next steps based on changing circumstances or newly developed information. • Demonstrate a strong moral compass and the ability to conduct investigations objectively, professionally, and without bias. • Be a self-starter, intellectually curious about your craft and field of expertise, and consistently look for ways to improve yourself and the team around you. • Possess excellent customer service skills and maintain a friendly, professional appearance and demeanor. • Investigative Analysts are required to pass a thorough background check and maintain authorization by Surefox North America permitting access to confidential information at a level required for this position. • Computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office, Google Platforms, investigative databases, and related reporting systems. • This is NOT a remote position. • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English. • Must have a high school diploma or GED. What is desired: • 5–7 years of experience in an Investigative Analyst, Security Investigations, Corporate Security Operations, Intelligence, Law Enforcement, or comparable role. • Experience performing investigative or analytical duties within law enforcement, intelligence, private-sector security investigations, or corporate security environments. • Experience performing complex data analysis in support of investigations. • Experience conducting investigative interviews and preparing professional investigative reports and executive-level briefings. • Experience supporting or developing operational standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training documentation, or performance measurement systems. • Experience working with CCTV, access control/badging systems, case management platforms, investigative reporting systems, or similar security technologies. • Experience coordinating with external security service providers, agencies, vendors, or other investigative partners. • Experience supporting executive-level leaders, VIP stakeholders, or other high-priority internal customers and understanding their needs as senior decision makers. • Experience with performance measurement, quality assurance, and continuous improvement within security or investigative programs. • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
