  • Provide training and guidance on inventory policies, SOX controls, and count procedures.

Job Purpose

The role is responsible for supporting our inventory processes across global manufacturing locations, with the focus on inventory accuracy, SOX compliance, process standardization, root cause resolution, audit support, and collaboration with cross functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support accurate inventory processes, including perpetual and periodic systems.
  • Review cycle-count programs and full physical audits. Including review of plan schedules, supervise execution, support investigation of discrepancies, and follow up root-cause analyses for unexplained variances and action plan implementation.
  • Follow up SOX testing of key inventory-related financial controls: design, documentation, effectiveness, remediation.
  • Support internal and external audits by coordinating audit activities, ensuring industrial controllers provide required documentation, identifying deficiencies, and driving corrective action plans.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen inventory processes-update policies (SOPs), streamline operations, and implement best practices.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, Finance, IT, and Internal Audit.
  • Develop reports and dashboards (e.g., using Power BI, Excel, Power Query) to track compliance status.
  • Provide training and guidance on inventory policies, SOX controls, count procedures, and change initiatives and coordinating with the plants and ensuring the applicability and process harmonization across regions.
  • Support financial reporting.


Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in financial reporting, supply chain, or SOX/internal audit roles
  • Experience with cycle counts and/or physical inventory.


Preferred Qualifications

  • SOX/Internal Controls: understanding of SOX testing, remediation, and documentation.
  • ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.); advanced Excel; familiarity with BI/data tools
  • Proactive and analytical mindset, attention to detail, strong communication, project management capability, and ability to build cross-functional relationships.

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is USD $74,625.00 - $114,425.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
