Job SummaryPosition summary:The
Inventory and MRO Warehouse Supervisor provides end-to-end strategic and operational leadership for direct and indirect inventory at our industrial facility. This position drives cash flow efficiency by optimizing Operating Working Capital (OWC), establishes advanced asset care and optimization strategies, and partners seamlessly with maintenance and production teams to elevate industrial reliability standards.
Key responsibilities:- Team leadership: Manage and develop all MRO storeroom team members and functions.
- Replenishment control: Direct material replenishment workflows for stock and non-stock items linked to active maintenance work orders .
- Maintenance coordination: Build a robust warehouse staging program integrated directly with scheduled maintenance days.
- Asset management: Oversee the equipment rebuild program to safeguard critical spare part availability.
- Inventory optimization: Audit inventory levels to identify, mitigate, and resolve obsolescence, slow-moving items, and system redundancies.
- Vendor logistics: Authorize rush shipments, strategically routing logistics through preferred industrial vendors.
- Critical tooling: Collaborate with maintenance staff and suppliers to design and maintain an exhaustive critical spares index.
- Data integrity: Own warehouse accuracy by implementing precise cycle-count methodologies.
Requirements and qualifications:- Experience: 5+ years of industrial experience spanning storerooms, heavy purchasing, receiving, maintenance operations, or industrial supply chains.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a highly related technical field preferred.
- Software: Advanced computer proficiency using SAP (required), Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
- Financial acumen: Foundational grasp of industrial finance mechanisms and cash allocation control.
- Soft skills: Polished presentation skills and comfortable interacting with teams across all corporate tiers.
Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00Physical & environmental demands:- Mobility: Ability to walk multiple miles per day and work in all processing locations across the plant site.
- Lifting: Capability to lift up to 50 lbs overhead to assist with stock movements.
- PPE Required to be worn: Hardhat, high visibility vest, hearing protection, safety glasses, respirator, and safety boots.
- Credentials: Must achieve and maintain active MSHA part 48 certification (paid for by company).
