RRD is looking for a Inventory Analyst to join our team in Houston!

This is an onsite position M-F from 7am-4pm

Job Summary

The Inventory Analyst maintains inventory record integrity, analyzes stock performance, and ensures material availability to meet production and customer demand. Working closely with Operations, Production, Purchasing, and Finance, this role optimizes inventory levels, mitigates scrap, and reduces carrying costs. The position leverages ERP data and analytical tools to track key metrics and support continuous process improvements across the supply chain.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain Data Integrity: Conduct daily cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliations across system records and physical stock to maintain targeted accuracy levels.
  • Investigate Discrepancies: Analyze inventory transactions to identify root causes of stock variances, scrap, write-offs, or damaged materials, implementing corrective actions to minimize financial loss.
  • Optimize Inventory Levels: Monitor stocking metrics-including days of inventory on hand (DOH), inventory turns, and slow-moving or obsolete stock-to balance material availability with operational cost targets.
  • Reporting & Dashboards: Generate routine inventory reports and dashboards using ERP systems to track KPIs such as cycle count accuracy, adjustment values, and work order completion rates.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, business, accounting, finance or supply chain is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of inventory analysis experience within a manufacturing or warehouse environment is required.
  • Experience in ERP
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (i.e. pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail


Additional Information

RRD's current salary range for this role is $64,000 to $98,400 / year. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future. At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
